Abstract

This template provides you the layout and style which we wish you to adopt for the preparation of your paper presented at IWSAI 2010. We are going to use this file to publish your paper "camera ready" in the Proceeding volume of the workshop. Please, overwrite this text maintaining the same format to match the goal of having a Proceeding volume with a uniform and smooth style. This abstract should be less than 100 words, italic.

1. INTRODUCTION

We recommend to use MS Word processor and to follow the format provided in this template; In A4 paper, left and right margin are 16mm respectively, 8 mm middle margin, 35 mm top margin, and 27 mm bottom margin. When a paragraph starts, give an indent of 2 characters. In the last page of the article, make the length of left and right stage to be equal approximately.

Make use of the maximum page length apart from the following exception: do not begin a new section directly at the bottom of a page, but transfer the heading to the top of the next column.

Title: Only the first word, proper nouns, and acronyms are capitalized. Keep titles brief and descriptive. Avoid starting with articles or prepositions, e.g., "The study of … ," "On the ….". Spell out acronyms unless they are widely known.

Authors and affiliations: use 12-point type, centered. Leave extra space between authors and affiliations/address. Omit titles or degrees such as Dr., Prof., Ph.D., etc. Avoid acronyms that are not internationally known.

All body text, including abstract, should be 10-point type.

Acronyms: for the first occurrence (other than for commonly used acronyms such as IR, CCD, MTF, etc.), spell out each word followed by the acronym in parentheses, e.g., body image (BI) or Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV).

We recommend the use of 1.0 (single) line spacing. However, when typing complicated mathematical text it is important to increase the space between text lines in order to prevent sub- and super-script fonts overlapping one another and making your printed matter illegible.

Type reference citations within the text with squared brackets [1, 2] At the last page of the paper, make sure that the two columns have the same length as shown in this template.

Color Page: Manuscripts containing color will retain color only in the website digital publications, at no charge.

2. EXPERIMENTAL

Tables and illustrations should be originals or sharp images. They should be arranged throughout the text preferably being included on the same page as they are first discussed. They should have a self-contained caption and be positioned in center margin within the column. If they do not fit into one column they may be placed across both columns in which case place them at the top or at the bottom of a page. Type figure and table captions in 9-point type. Number figures sequentially, and begin caption with figure or table number.

Equations are placed in center and should be preceded and followed by one line of white.

(1)

If they are numbered, make sure that they are numbered consecutively. Place the numbers in parentheses.

Tables should be presented in the form shown in Table1. Their layout should be consistent throughout.

All illustrations should be clearly displayed by leaving at least a single line of spacing above and below them. When placing a figure at the top of a page, the top of the figure should be at the same level as the bottom of the first text line of the other column.

Photographs and figures must always be sharp originals and rich in contrast. They should be embedded in the manuscript as illustrated in the following.

List references at the end of the paper in numerical order, and enclose the reference number in square brackets. Include the following information (as applicable):

Papers on Journal: Authors, Journal, Volume, pag-pag (year)

Papers on Book:Authors, Book Title, Editor, page (year)

Patents:Author, Patent title, Patent number (year)
