During IWSAI, the "Centro Internazionale del Libro Parlato" will exhibit eight bas-relief paintings, faithful and color copies of original pictures painted by famous Italian artists. These works are helpful for blind and visually impaired people.
The topics of this exhibition are life and passion of Jesus Christ. In particular, the reproduction of the Man of the Shroud is important because it allows everyone to feel and touch the 3-D Man's face and distinguish the scars of the passion, without wearing special glasses.
The realization of these peculiar works is unique in Europe and they are accompanied by guide books written in bold fonts and in braille for visual impaired people, in Italian and English.
